Hawaii - Maui
Maui is an island in the Central Pacific, part of the Hawaiian Archipelago. Haleakala National Park includes the island's highest peak, volcanic Haleakala, and the pools and waterfalls of Ohe'o Gulch, accessible via the beautiful, meandering Hana Highway. The island's almost 50 km of beaches include the golden, crescent-shaped Kapalua, protected from the strong currents by capes of lava rock. ― Google

I liked Maui the best, even the outward flight in a small plane (space for nine passengers) was impressive!

unfortunately it rained a lot during our hike 💦 and the paths were sometimes very slippery 🤪 otherwise a great trail!

the bamboo forest is absolutely worth seeing - the sounds of the bamboo sticks bumping into each other is mystical, a little scary and fascinating at the same time. Absolutely terrific and at the end of the hike you get to a waterfall 💦
