You can only really enjoy the Cumbrecita if you have hiked there (and not even taken the car to the parking lot and then walked a few meters) and marveled at the bizarre rocks of the Cumbre Vieja on the way. Everything that nature has brought about in 2 million years with the sun and erosion. From the Mirador Lomo de las Chozas (approx. 700m from the Cumbrecita) you have a fantastic view of the Caldera de Taburiente - if the weather cooperates.

great view to the cumbrecita and to the rear caldera crest. especially in the morning and evening hours wonderful light.
