The Aragonese Pyrenees are privileged peaks, the high mountain Pyrenean valleys in the province of Huesca are consecrated with the gift of seduction, they have been created to dazzle the senses and make the emotions vibrate. The mountains of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park are also rock cathedrals dressed with the forest cover of beech, fir, gall oak, pine, birch and the rest of the plant species that fill each season of the year with magic, wildlife and color the most beautiful corners of the Pyrenean mountains between the great valleys of the Ara and Cinca rivers.
In Ordesa there are natural wonders everywhere and on all slopes, they are outstanding landscapes for the environmental quality, the value of the geological architecture, the spectacular geographical compositions of the mountain massifs and the cultural content in the ethnographic, heritage and traditional values of the mountain towns. The great canyons where the Arazas, Cinca and Añisclo rivers originate are the outstanding stars in the repertoire of the most well-known and outstanding reliefs of the national park, impressive and unique samples of the creation and development of the original glacial forms and the later periglacial model, giving rise to the current landscape that shows a vigorous succession of abrupt peaks, bands, spurs, deep valleys and enormous gorges that form the highest limestone massif in Europe, culminating in the summit of Monte Perdido (3,355 m).
