L'église est bâtie au XIIe siècle sur demande de l'Abbaye Saint-Pierre de Jumièges.
Une réfection est entreprise au XVIe siècle, dont le chœur rebâti en style Renaissance, mais inachevée. L'église est église paroissiale après la Révolution française.
L'édifice est classé au titre des monuments historiques le 15 Mars 1918.

"The church was built in the 12th century at the request of the Abbey of Saint-Pierre de Jumièges.
A renovation was carried out in the 16th century, including the choir, which was rebuilt in Renaissance style but was unfinished. The church is a parish church after the French Revolution.
The building was classified as a historic monument in 1918."

The church is in the middle of the cemetery and must have been planned to be much larger. The different architectural styles and the wooden tower in the middle are exciting.
