Bowfell (sometimes written Bow Fell) stands at the head of Great Langdale. It's a rocky crag with rough trails that are great fun to run. The views are amazing, both east into Langdale and west up towards the Scafells.

Bowfell at 2,959 feet (902 m) is the highest point on the Langdale Horseshoe fell race. It's also on the Bob Graham Round and the Joss Naylor Challenge route.
