The mill on Holljestraße in Edewecht has been owned by the Joosten family for over a century - and it has been in operation for just as long. Until 1945, the blades of the mill turned with the help of the wind to grind the grain, after that engine power was used. Almost 50 years later, in 1996, the motor mill was shut down. Since then, the mill has served as a grain silo.
Today, Peter Joosten junior is the fourth generation to run a green department store under the name "Mühle Joosten" where you can find all kinds of things for the house, yard and garden. Just drop by and browse through the aisles.
