KRONPLATZ "Gigger"

In the year 2000, the world's largest monocable gondola, the "Kronplatz 2000", went into operation. In the same year, "Skirama Kronplatz" commissioned the peace bell "Concordia 2000" - an idea of Erich Kastlunger, which first rang in 2003 on the summit of the Kronplatz for unity, peace and harmony.

The Concordia 2000 peace bell is located on the summit of the 2,275 m high Kronplatz. The bell is rung every day at 12 noon, unless it is being renovated, as it is today.

Very good all-round view. Also suitable for the totally unconditioned, as the summit can also be reached by train from Olang, Reischach and St. Vigil.
The climb on foot isn't particularly strenuous either.

Definitely worth taking the walk to the top. Like everywhere here, you can also enjoy good food and drinks. And you can also visit some museums. In the summer this is more of a cycling mountain than a hiking mountain.
