The Catholic parish church "St. Philippus and Jakobus" was built between 1489 and 1504, with the main room being built in 1497. The latter date is documented by an inscription by the founders or builders Tolde Knauf and Hans Steffen on a buttress on the south side. Since 2003 there has also been a carillon with 49 bronze bells in the tower top. The automatic gaming system has set playing times, among other things. (11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.).
