We were there and we loved it. We step into the really big hall and get a great view over Davos and over the snow-capped mountains. We sit down and order cappuccino and delicious cakes.

For Thomas Mann:
Hans Castorp, the main character in Thomas Mann's novel "The Magic Mountain", is actually perfectly healthy. He visits his cousin in a Davos sanatorium, who is kept in Davos by the doctors to be on the safe side because of signs of tuberculosis.
