Tsuzuki Minka-en is a place consisting of an Edo-period private house, the former residence of the Nagasawa family, an administrative building, and a garden.
The main house and stables of the former Nagasawa family residence were relocated to the current "Tsuzuki Minkaen" in 1997 and designated as an Important Historical Building by Yokohama City as Tangible Cultural Property.
The Nagasawa family is an old family from Ushikubo Village, Tsuzuki County (now Ushikubo City, Tsuzuki District), which is near the Yokohama City History Museum.
