Gatlinburg Skybridge is the longest suspension pedestrian bridge in North America, stretching 680 feet. At the midpoint of the bridge, it stands 140 feet above the forest floor. To cross from one side to the other, you walk across 30 feet of glass panels that look down into the forest. The bridge swings gently while walking over it. It offers a fantastic view to the ridge of the Great Smokies. Access to the bridge is available via SkyLift (fee: $ 37-39, online booking recommended) or you can also hike via Greystone Heights. The SkyTrail brings you back to the start with nice views from behind the bridge.
