The varied trail runs beneath a rock face, through a steep mountain forest that rises gently higher up, crosses streams that are sometimes only audible beneath the scree, offers views of the Gradenbach Gorge and the Enns Valley, and leads through a moorland landscape just before the lake. It is secured with ropes in some places.
