The monastery of San Bartolomeo in Serle is a place rich in history and natural beauty. Founded in 1039 as San Pietro in Monte, it is located at the top of Mount Orsino, at an altitude of 993 meters above sea level. During the fifteenth century, it underwent a radical renovation and today it is possible to reach it through a suggestive walk in the woods.

Founded in 1039, the monastery of San Bartolomeo di Serle, originally called San Pietro in Monte, is located in a panoramic position on Mount Orsino (993 m above sea level). Radically renovated in the mid-15th century, it can be reached with a beautiful walk in the woods. Excavations have brought to light important structures and finds from the early Middle Ages.
