Public park in Heidelberg.

"The swan pond at the city library was created in the early 1960s when Bergheim's main train station was relocated to its current location. With a children's playground. The past 50 years have greatly aged the complex, many changes to the edges and interior have diluted and distorted the original design. -

The main train station stood here until it was moved to its current location. In the park with a large pond, a monument reminds us that the train station was used in 1940 to transport fellow citizens of the Jewish faith to Gurs - as was the case throughout Baden and the Palatinate. Most of them didn't survive.

The swan pond complex at the city library was created in the early 1960s, when Bergheim's main train station was moved to its current location.
