For a short rest it is certainly quite pleasant, but about 500m further on the Schluchtensteig you come to the Ibacher Friedenskreuz, which as a resting place has much more to offer than this bank

From the Hochrütte you have a view of high pastures. Pleasant to take a short break.
For a longer rest, we recommend either the place on Kreuzfelsen (approx. 1.5 km in the direction of the Klosterweiher) or the Ibach Peace Cross (approx. 1.5 km in the direction of Todtmoos). The view from there is simply better. Directional information based on the signs for the Schluchtensteig.
