The Havelter Mill is a corn mill and is a national monument with industrial historical value.
Because it is capable of grinding, grain is ground when there is sufficient wind. The entire process from grain to flour can then be viewed.

Would you also like to experience what it was like at the mill in earlier times, when there were no steam engines or electric motors? Or hear the sounds of the large wooden cogwheels on the thick wooden axles and the "singing" of the grinding stones? Then come and see the mill.

During opening hours, the mill is freely accessible for viewing. However, if you want a guided tour, you will hear all kinds of facts about all aspects of the mill.
