The ruins of Reußenstein are the ruins of a rock castle above Neidlingen, exactly on the border of the districts of Esslingen and Göppingen in Baden-Württemberg. Today the Reußenstein is a popular destination for climbers and hikers and is one of the most visited castles in the Alb.

Immediately after the parking lot at the train station on the white wall you have a great view of the Reußenstein castle ruins.
After about 300 meters you should leave the third forest path and follow the HW1 further to the right. Here you should not miss the view from Pfannenberg over Neidlingen and the surrounding area.
