Zaltbommel has a rich water history. The port has played an important role in the past, among other things for the transshipment of sand and gravel. In addition, many beautiful ships were built from the long-slope shipyard between 1882 and 1992.

The port of Zaltbommel (province of Gelderland) is centrally located in the Netherlands on the busy Waal. It is therefore an ideal stopping point for yachts looking for a safe and quiet berth for the night or longer. You are right in the center of the historic fortress with all facilities, shops, restaurants, etc. within easy reach. Moreover, the area has plenty to offer and there are beautiful cycling trips.
