Since February 2022, you can overlook the Viconia clay pits from the 6.5 meter high watchtower. The tower was designed by Stijn Deruyter of Natuur en Bos and was already nicknamed 'the cork'. It consists of a metal construction with cedar wood cladding. Due to the inverted cone shape, close to a bush, the space intake is limited and fits into the landscape.

The lookout tower is a new, attractive attraction in the centre of the reserve. The walker enters the tower from a small forest via a staircase. Then, a spiral staircase takes him to a floor 6.5 metres above ground level. There, you have a beautiful view of the nature reserve. The tower was designed by Stijn Deruyter of Natuur en Bos and was already nicknamed ‘the cork’ and cost 110,000 euros. It consists of a metal construction with cedar cladding. Due to the inverted cone shape, close to a small forest, the space occupied is limited and fits into the landscape.
