A central meeting point on the market square is the Senator Hermann Schulze fountain. Directly on the market square are the first important houses from earlier eras and the modern town hall, which also houses the tourist information office (entrance around the corner in Cardenap). The shopping arcade, which is rich in offerings, stretches along Steinweg. You should definitely take your time for a stroll.
The Gifhorn weekly market takes place here on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Gifhorn is a district town in Lower Saxony.
It's an idyllic little town.
You can stroll there, there are cafes and restaurants and some sights.
The mill museum in particular is also known beyond the borders of Lower Saxony.
