Lovely castle on the coast. Surely worth a visit. It was very windy when we've been here in May.

Tantallon Castle is an incredibly impressive castle ruin by the sea. A visit is highly recommended, although the castle can only be reached on foot from the outskirts of North Berwick. For less mobile people, there is unfortunately no bus line that leads past there.

Closed for work in September 2021, access to the outdoor area is free of charge, online reservations are desirable.
Bus stop directly at the parking lot of the castle, on the street. There is no bus stop sign.
