Mountains as far as the eye can see. And in the middle of it all is the 4-star Hotel Rehlegg with a fantastic view of the Watzmann. Great food and a cozy SPA.

In 1454 the Rehlegg was a simple farmhouse. In 1917 Sebastian Lichtmannegger bought the property for himself and his family. In addition to farming, he and his wife also ran a small haulage business. And they started renting guest rooms. In 1938 the Rehlegg had 30 beds and an overnight stay with breakfast cost 2.40 Reichsmarks. There was even a bit of glamor for free: the homeland film was booming and filming took place at the court. Over the decades, we at Lichtmannegger have continued to expand and rebuild the Rehlegg. To the 4-star superior hotel that we are today. With 86 rooms and suites, restaurants, outdoor pool, indoor pool, SPA and large sauna area. But even if a lot has changed in around 100 years: the former farmhouse is still in its place.
