In the center of the Valletta bus station is the interesting Triton fountain. With its location, it naturally marks the start of their Malta tour for many visitors, because this is where the Valletta bus station is located, and most of the Maltese buses travel there.
The fountain was created in 1959 by the Maltese sculptor Vincent.
Apart from the arriving and departing buses, it is a meeting point for young and old and is surrounded by numerous smaller shops and cafes.
