church: Miracles were attributed to the finger of John the Baptist, who was transferred around 1420 to the Chapelle St-Mériadec (which then stood here), and pilgrims flocked to it. In 1440 it was therefore decided to build a large church in late Gothic style. This was completed in 1513. At the foot of the tower are two charnel houses, leaning against the buttresses: the right house is Gothic, the other is built in Renaissance style.

Saint Jean du Finger is famous for its annual Grand Pardon procession. Since 1420 the inhabitants carry the relic (the finger) of Saint John the Baptist in procession every last Sunday of June. The celebration culminates in a huge fire destroying a cross next to the fountain. Miracles are attributed to the finger of Jean-Baptiste, which was transferred around 1420 to the chapel of St-Mériadec (which then stood there), and pilgrims flocked there. In 1440, it was therefore decided to build a large late Gothic church. This was completed in 1513. At the foot of the tower are two mass graves, leaning against the buttresses: the house on the right is Gothic, the other is Renaissance.
