Phyllotaxis is the name of the stone artwork of the artist Sjoerd Buisman. The term phyllotaxis stands for the arrangement of leaves in plants and flowers. The stone arches in turn are arranged so that they represent the schematic image of a flower. But even if you are not interested in art, you can take a seat here and enjoy the view.

In addition, not only two-legged art connoisseurs come here: The cows on the neighboring pasture also like to make a trip to the Phyllotaxis.

The stone sculpture "Phyllotaxis Irrsee" from 1999 shows a section through the leaf stand of a celery stalk. The stone is a limestone from St. Koloman (between Hallein and Golling).
