In 2014 the monastery church life ended in the Altenhohenau monastery.
In addition to the grave of the blessed Columba Weigel, which is a popular destination for pilgrims, you will also find the Columba - Kindl, a carved, magnificently dressed Christ Child figure from the 15th century, which is associated with a legend.
According to legend, the Columba Kindl walked through the monastery at night and thus watched over the sisters' sleep.
In addition to the magnificent dresses, small shoes were also sewn from silk fabric.
The Columba Kindl is said to have gone through these shoes so that one of Agnes' sisters had to sew new ones.
