Attention danger to life! Unfortunately, one of the most beautiful hiking trails I know was destroyed by a large Jagst flood. The path was either buried in places and / or blocked by fallen trees. In the course of the trail was washed away completely. The way is absolutely no longer walkable, or no longer available! Complete destruction! As of: 19.06.2016

Below Crailsheim, the Jagst reaches the Muschelkalk of the Hohenlohe plain at the Heldenmühle. From here, the character of the valley changes fundamentally. The river digs deep into the Hohenlohe plain and forms bizarre Talmäander. A section that measures just over 8 km as the crow flies, is traversed by her on a more than twice as long flow. In some places there are also larger rock faces, for instance below the Barenhalder mill, at the Kernmühle or Baierlesstein and at the Bärenstein between the Heinzenmühle and Lobenhausen.
