On this path below the village of Ostfildern-Parksiedlung you have a wonderful view down into the Neckar valley in the direction of Stuttgart-Obertürkheim and S-Bad Cannstatt, over to Esslingen's old town including the castle and church ensemble as well as the Schurwald and the Swabian Jura towering behind.
The roundabout on the road towards Esslingen is a popular meeting place for young and old, especially on New Year's Eve
