On Cape Tigani are the remains of an ancient castle that can be explored.
A path leads around the plateau along the cliffs.
The view of the sea and the mountains is fantastic and I think the water is nowhere as blue as here 😉
There is no shade on Cape Tigani and it gets really hot, especially in summer, so bring enough water and a hat.

These are the sparse remains of the Frankish fort of Kastro Maini, which was built around 1250 by the son of the crusader Godefroy of Villehardouin at a strategically important location, which, however, had been used for cult and military purposes since antiquity. Remains of an early Christian basilica have recently been archaeologically discovered within the ground plan of the fort.

Sturdy footwear, preferably mid-height hiking boots, is highly recommended! You'll be walking on a lot of loose scree, and up on the plateau is a beautiful thistle paradise!
