These natural hot springs (24°C) have been preserved in their original state since the Arabs used them to work esparto (stiff grass) and linen (15th century).
First the "Baño Grande" (= Banos de Vacamia) a bath of 20m² and then "Baño Chico" (= Baños de Urquizar). Urquizar's water was declared minerals in 1990 and thermal water (heated groundwater from the Earth's crust) in 2006. It is extremely pure and pure because of its enrichment with minerals and trace elements. Between both pools there is a drinking fountain "Manantial del Rio".
