The ferry ride to Denmark is a highlight, especially if you're on a bike. You drive right into the belly of the huge ferry, which has space for countless trucks and cars. The crossing takes about 45 minutes and on board there is everything you need, as well as a lovely sun deck. The crossing cost €8.50 per person at the time, including a bike.

There is no special access for cyclists. We had to wait until all the cars were on the ship and then we could follow them. The information was very friendly and even if it seems a bit adventurous at first glance, it's routine.

Ferries run every 40 minutes and in the low season from 01.09. A crossing there and back on the same day costs only € 11.50 per person inclusive. bicycle
