Dinant is a town in the Wallonia region of Belgium. It lies on the banks of the Meuse and is framed by steep cliffs. The centuries-old fortified citadel sits enthroned on a rock above the city. Today it is a museum with a panoramic view. The Gothic collegiate church of Notre-Dame de Dinant is located below the citadel.
