The chapel, the jewel of the Kleinholzleuter, keeps old traditions alive and the remaining village community together. In 1977, the village raised enough money to completely renovate the dilapidated little church.

They could even afford a ceiling painting by the church painter Schuck from Kimratshofen: Christ as the Lamb of God, depicted with the victory flag and the Holy Scripture. The blacksmith Josef Epp, who comes from the village, made the chapel door and the bell rider. To the right and left of the altar are wooden figures of Saint Sebastian and an unknown woman. Above the valuable, ancient wrought iron alms box hangs a votive picture in memory of a misfortune. "In the year 1795, on June 12, Barbara Ristin died in the chapel in a terrible appearance due to a storm. She was twenty years old." That is the explanation. Since the renovation, the Kleinholzleuter, or at least the regular residents, have held a service in the chapel every first Wednesday of the month.
