The grotto of Lourdes is one of the places of the greatest importance for devout Christians.

Since the apparitions of the Virgin in the time of Marie-Bernadette Soubirous, the place has changed a lot. It has been laid out in such a way that it can accommodate a crowd of pilgrims, which are still numerous year after year. On both sides of the Gave de Pau, there are many monuments.

In addition to the Grotto of Massabelle, which with the water from the Grotto and the swimming pools represents a bit of the "holy of holies", the imposing church of Sainte-Bernadette is impressive.

The route also takes you to the Eucharist adoration tent, the Pieta, the adoration chapel and the so-called Matter Dolorosa.
