The Windy Gap bears his name rightly. While it can still be completely calm in the inland, a stiff breeze whistles up here. From up here you have a magnificent view of the Macgillycuddy's Reeks, whose summits rise to the west clearly above the vast landscape. In the other direction, you can already see Glenbeigh and Dingle Bay.
