The legend of Schauenberg and the Devil's Stone of Teufelstein.

The Schauenberg chapel had to be enlarged because of the influx of pilgrims in 1515. On the north/south and in Gothic style, the miraculous statue of Mary was housed. It was at this time that the legend of the devil's rock was grafted:

The devil, to prevent the construction of the shrine and regain his influence over the forest and the druidic stones, has thrown a large stone on the site to destroy the building. When a miracle happened, the stone was softened when he lifted it. He could steer it and his claws didn't make deep marks in the rock behind.
According to another legend, the devil would like to start the construction of a path to the Schauenberg by continuously rolling stones there to prevent pilgrims from going to the chapel to bid.
More seriously, Christianity is still mixed with Paganism as this stone has a pair of cupules, see a chair, definitely used for Druid initiation ceremonies.
