In a hairpin bend in the Rheingoldstraße in the Leimbach valley, a tunnel leads deep into the mountain. At the beginning, however, this is filled with about 30 cm deep water flowing out of the mountain. After about 10 m the water ends and even with a flashlight you can't see the end.

Update after exploring with waders:
After 50 meters there is a cathedral from which a 150 m tunnel leads to the right. After another 100 meters, a 150 m tunnel leads to the left, before it then goes into a very large cathedral, from which 3 more tunnels branch off. The one on the left is 120 m long, the one on the right 50 m and the one in the middle leads another 200 m with a course of 355 degrees in the direction of the Rhein mine. There the water is already over the kneecaps.
