The ensemble of buildings in the center of Hoffenheim houses the local history museum in the old post office building and a typewriter museum in "Haus Brehm". Between the two buildings is the former tithe barn of the Barons von Gemmingen.
There were probably previous castle- or palace-like buildings here. It is assumed that the seat of the former local nobility was also located here.

Central, townscape-defining two-story solid building with an outside staircase under a hipped roof, built in the middle of the 19th century. The valuable wrought iron stair railing dates from 1901.
Residential, commercial and post office of the postkeeper Lisa Dahlem.
Since 1990 it has been the local history museum of the Hoffenheim local history association.
Exhibition on rural living and farming, crafts and history of Hoffenheim.
The "Rössl", renovated for reopening in 2011, donated by honorary member Dr. Waltraut Ludwig, at the “Haus Ludwig” until 1927 (local tour no. 14)

The Typewriter Museum in Hoffenheim shows around 200 very well-preserved and functional examples from 150 years of typewriter history, from the first wooden machine by the inventor Peter Mitterhofer to the transition to the digital computer world. Models from many manufacturers at home and abroad await visitors. In another section, historical calculating machines from 120 years are presented. The spectrum of machines ranges from abacus and slide rules to the most recently manufactured mechanical calculating machine with result display and electromechanical machines with result printing.
