If there is one cove that you absolutely have to see, it is this one: the En-Vau cove. The most grandiose with its high cliffs, with its beautiful pebble beach. It is the most often represented, the most photographed: it is emblematic of the massif. Its pure lines, the contrast of its white-gray cliffs, which fall into the purple and turquoise waters are spectacular. No cabins here: it is wild, unspoiled nature, animated only by its visitors. It is an estuary cove that ends a 2.5km valley. It sinks 700m into Urgonian limestone, homogeneous throughout the massif, in the northwest and southeast directions. Its valley becomes more and more steep as we approach the sea, to become a real canyon between two steep walls. En-Vau beach is the reward, after hiking or climbing a route, to rest, picnic or swim. We think we are at the end of the world! But it is also very popular with families and groups, and depending on our arrival time it will be difficult to put your towel there.
