"The Heimathaus is a craftsman's house built around 1790 and extended in later years. It has a stepless entrance. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, living room and the stable. Upstairs is a bedroom and the toilets."

The entrance is accessible without steps. Every year there is a new exhibition in the Heimathaus. The house was built around 1790 and the rooms are small and low. The toilet is on the first floor. The local history association also offers a tour of agricultural vehicles in a barn on request. This is on the Niesmann farm (Aschebergerstraße 4 in Arup).
