On the grounds of the Schulandheim in Jerischke there is an information center with an exhibition on the geology of the fold arch: Here the formation during the Ice Age is explained as well as the background to the lignite mining and the finding of the mammoth from Klinge. An exhibition with local forest animals completes the offer. The immediate area can be explored on a two to five kilometer long nature trail. Source:
