The building was built in 1892 in the style of a villa and then leased. It has been privately owned since 1960, and the pharmacy is called the "Bären-Apotheke" (Bear Pharmacy).
The two-story sandstone block building features a magnificent façade in the Italian Renaissance style. A three-axis gable projection spanning both floors is located centrally at the front. Above the pilaster portal, through which one enters the pharmacy, is an antique-style female marble figure in a niche.
