The origin of the famous river
The Isar has a total length of around 295 kilometers and rises right here in the Karwendel Mountains and is the fourth largest river in Bavaria after the Danube, the Inn and the Main. In Moosburg the Amper flows into the Isar, which then flows into the Danube in Deggendorf.
