ハイキング
The Mariensteig on the western shore of Lake Achensee is absolutely gorgeous! The path is partly very exposed and not a walking path.

Beautiful hike!!!
Great views of Lake Achensee.
The 90 meters of altitude are deceptive, there are lots of ups and downs and the path has many, many high steps. So after a break at the Gaisalm I decided to take the boat back to Achenkirch (Scholastika).
My fellow hiker also took the same route back!

A stage on our alpine hike. In itself very beautiful with the lake and the clear water, but there are a lot of steps to conquer and from the Gaisalm to Pertisau the path was very crowded, so that you could not enjoy the great paths and views of the lake because of oncoming traffic. An unbelievable number of tourists from Pertisau were on their way to the Alm. By far the most stressful hike on our Alpine tour.
