The Vesztergomb cellar is one of the best-known wineries in the Szekszárd wine region. The dominant winemaker of the winery is Ferenc Vesztergombi, who has been practicing this profession since 1970 and was the Winemaker of the Year in 1993. His son, Csaba Vesztergombi, also a winemaker, has been working at the winery since 1996.
Winemaking is a centuries-old tradition in the family. The earliest written record of this dates back to the 18th century. The first mountain judge of Szekszárd was György Vesztergombi.
