Monastery Church of the Heiligkreuztal Monastery
ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL IN UPPER SWABIA
The three-nave church was consecrated in 1319 in honor of Mary and the Holy Cross. Already at this time it had received a valuable decoration with the large colored choir window. High-quality wall paintings and altars were added in the 16th and 18th centuries.

THE FIRST HOUSE OF GOD IN HEILIGKREUZTAL
THE BROTHERS' CHURCH WITH NUNS' EVENING
The brother church is referred to as the original church of Heiligkreuztal: it was built first. The nuns' gallery, the heart of the nunnery, projects from the brother church into the monastery church. The gallery has been a Protestant place of worship since the mid-19th century.
