The tourist office located at Rekegemstraat 26 in Zwalm (at the Zwalmmolen) is open:
From March to October: every Saturday and Sunday.
During all school holidays from Wednesday to Sunday (including the previous weekend).
All public holidays throughout the year, except Christmas and New Year.
Every time from 10 am. to 5 p.m.

Until 1990, Marcel De Boe, a lawyer from Ophasselt, who wanted to promote the Zwalm region as a tourist attraction, owned the Zwalmmolen (TenBergmolen) together with his wife, and also sold the Ijzerkotmolen, among others. After his death, his widow sold the mill and a year later (1991) also this house directly opposite to the Province of East Flanders.
In the area it was known as "the house of Palmyre", as a residential facility for the operator of the catering business, which was transferred from the water mill to the opposite mill house, Rekegemstraat 28, in 1991-1992.
