A geological feature is the so-called ravine ravines. One of them is the Aftergraben on the southwestern edge of the Limmersdorfer Forest. Due to the shady location and high humidity there is a cooler and humid climate compared to similar vegetation in the area, which is why the development of nature differs significantly from the environment outside the gorge.

The anal ditch is less known than the devil's hole. The entrance is about 800 meters southeast of Neustädtlein, around the end of the paved road towards Waldhütte. The canyon forest is a natural monument. If you go down to the stream, you will find a beautiful waterfall a few meters upstream.
