A very beautiful valley reminiscent of the Ninglinspo and especially Chefna torrents, with the mighty blocks of quartzite in the Sawe riverbed. A previously little frequented valley with great paths.

The Sawe, a Venn mountain stream, has its source in the Grande Fagne, near the place “Les Fermes en Fagnes”. It meanders for 6 km with interesting inclines before reaching the site downstream from Solwaster. Soon afterwards they connect at the Hoëgne. Like her big sisters, she has her share of local stories. For example, we discover a cross erected in memory of Marcel Dethiou, a hunter who died here in 1920. You will also find “the pedestrian bridge of Dianes Bad” on your way. It is said that Diane, one of the cow dogs from a neighboring farm, was wounded by a hunter. He was found in the sawe. The Sawe River is one of the most beautiful fagnard rivers. It takes its source in the Great Mire and flows into the Statte in the vicinity of Gospinal.
It is spanned by many small wooden bridges and presents magnificent small successions of waterfalls which are the joy of photographers.
It extends over more or less 6 km.
