The new bridge for trams, cyclists and pedestrians was built for the new tram line from Strasbourg to Kehl and inaugurated in 2017. Officially, it bears the unwieldy name "Beatus Rhenanus Bridge".

The Beatus-Rhenanus Bridge is one of the many border crossings here. Along with the "Bridge of the Two Banks" (the platform with seating is located there), it is one of the most beautiful ways to cross the Rhine and thus the border between Strasbourg and Kehl on foot.
The special thing about this bridge here - besides the beautiful construction - is the tram.
